Pukka Pads appoints LLPR

Leading British stationery brand, Pukka Pads, has appointed communications agency, Liz Lean PR (LLPR) to manage its consumer and B2B PR.

Pukka Pads has recently launched a consumer facing shopping website – a first for the company in its 23-year history. As a result, LLPR has been tasked with creating dialogue between the brand and consumers and bringing the company’s values and mission to life.

Liz Willingham, managing director at LLPR said: “Pukka Pads is a champion British brand with fantastic credentials and is a commendable success story. We’re proud to be representing such a well-loved and respected brand that continues to expand its product offering.

“We’ll be putting Pukka Pads on a stage where it deserves to be with our strategic PR plan that focusses on bringing the brand values to life and building brand affinity with the company’s core audiences. The entire LLPR team is buoyed by this exciting client win and we can’t wait to get our teeth stuck into the delivery.”

Since launching in 1999, Pukka Pads has grown to offer hundreds of stationery products and is sold in most major retailers across the UK including Tesco, Asda and WHSmith. The company operates from its head office in Poole, Dorset and manufactures in Lutterworth and Yorkshire. The ambitious team has also opened operations in the United States and has acquired complementary businesses such as Carpe Diem, to bolster the already extensive Pukka Pad product range.

Chris Stott, CEO at Pukka Pads commented: “Stationery continues to be as popular as ever and we’re now seeing new trends emerge with the increasing popularity of journaling and planning to support our stressful and busy lives. As a brand, we are always innovating and are looking forward to bringing more and more product and increasingly diverse designs directly to the consumer, while remaining the top choice on shop shelves.

“LLPR presented a creative, multi-faceted and result-driven proposal which reflects where we see Pukka Pads growing to in the coming years. The team is enthusiastic and we’re looking forward to working collaboratively with them on various campaigns to grow Pukka Pads’ brand presence even further.”

LLPR is a reputation-first communications agency with headquarters in the South of England and satellite offices in London and France.
