Get Crafty this Valentine’s Day

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s Disability Charity, are giving you the chance to get crafty this Valentine’s Day.

On Wednesday, February 14, the charity will be hosting a Valentine’s Craft Day at Gather in The Dolphin Centre, Poole between 10am and 3pm.  There will be the opportunity to make special heart wreaths, card flowers and Valentine’s cards throughout the day.

Francesca Potton, community fundraiser at Diverse Abilities commented: “We are really looking forward to getting out in the local community and making a variety of Valentine’s Day crafts that you can either keep for yourself or give as a gift to a loved one. Children and adults are welcome to take part, just pop in to see us at Gather to get crafty and find out more about Diverse Abilities and the work we do in the local area.”

There is no need to book, however the charity is asking for donations on the day in return for taking part. Find out more about Diverse Abilities, and how your donation will support children and adults with disabilities in Dorset at diverseabilities.org.uk.
