Daish’s Holidays celebrates milestone anniversaries for six long-serving employees

Daish’s Holidays, an independent UK coach holiday group, is celebrating significant milestone anniversaries for six of its dedicated Dorset-based employees, whose service spans 10 years. Roles range from head office management to hotel housekeeping and front of house.

Almost 10 percent of Daish’s Holidays’ 478-strong workforce has worked for the family-owned business, which operates 12 UK hotels and a fleet of coaches, for more than a decade. Employees working in the group’s Bournemouth head office marking 10 years are Commercial Director Paul Harper, Reservations Manager Maria Green, and Head of Operations Ben Hayter. Office Administrator Ela Magdziarz and waiter Krzysztof Magdziarz at the Bournemouth Sands Hotel, and Head Housekeeper Bogumila Wisniewska at Hotel Prince Regent in Weymouth also mark a decade working for the group.

George Brown, managing director at Daish’s Holidays, says: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate the loyalty and dedication of our team members. Our employees are at the heart of everything we do and it’s fantastic to celebrate the long service of six dedicated team members who have reached significant career milestones with us working across some of our Dorset locations. Their commitment and expertise are instrumental in delivering the high-quality service our guests have come to expect.”

He adds: “We endeavour to create a supportive and rewarding work environment where employees feel valued, having access to resources and opportunities which enable them to grow and thrive in their careers. It is their hard work and dedication that make Daish’s Holidays a trusted name in UK travel. We thank them for their outstanding contributions and look forward to many more successful years together.”

Paul Harper says: “I joined the group as Head of Sales and Marketing and after completing my transport manager Certificate of Professional Competence exam in 2017, I took on responsibility for the company’s fleet of coaches and team of drivers. As the company continued to expand and my responsibilities grew, I was appointed Commercial Director in 2020.

“Despite our growth, we still maintain a small leadership team, so no two days are ever the same for me. I very much enjoy the variety of activities I’m involved in, from marketing, to overseeing our drivers, and supporting hotel operations. I’m delighted to be part of the Daish’s family.”
