Christmas Carols in Bournemouth for Diverse Abilities

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, hosts its annual Christmas Carol Concert at St. Peter’s Church in Bournemouth town centre on Wednesday, December 13.


The evening, supported by Colten Care, will be hosted by Blair Crawford, the founder and president of Hope FM. 


Doors open at 6pm and guests can expect captivating festive performances from Sound of Soul, one of the South’s leading choirs and classical-crossover soprano Poppy Neame.


Entertainment will also come from Razzamataz Bournemouth, a theatre school for ages four to 18 specialising in musical theatre, as well as some Christmas favourites from Canford Heath Junior School. 


Mark Aitchison , CEO at Colten Care commented; “Colten Care is proud to support the Diverse Abilities Carol Concert for another year. Our residents’ choir, made up of singers from various homes, are excited to join in and be part of the night.”


Demi Tarrant, events executive at Diverse Abilities, said: “We are really looking forward to getting into the festive spirit with a fantastic range of performers and speakers. We’d love people to come along with their friends and family for a fantastic evening whilst supporting children and adults with disabilities in Dorset.”


Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children aged 11-16 years or free for children under 10. Alternatively, a family ticket can be purchased for £28, with all funds raised going to Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity.
