Chance to dance with Strictly star on offer at Summer Charity Ball
The opportunity to win a private dance lesson with Strictly Come Dancing star Kai Widdrington is just one of the prizes up for grabs at Simplify Consulting’s first ever Summer Charity Ball in support of Forest Holme Hospice and Solent Mind.
Simplify Consulting, a Southampton-based consulting firm offering practitioner-led consultancy services, will be welcoming guests to a Summer Charity Ball at the Hilton Ageas on 3rd September 2022, to enjoy a drink on arrival, 3-course meal and range of entertainment, including live music from Hampshire based group, Majestic Groove and professional Latin dance performances.
James Prouton, a former professional dancer now teacher at Dizzy Feet Dancing, will host the evening’s fundraising activities which include a raffle and auction giving guests the chance to win a private dance lesson with Strictly star Kai Widdrington, as well as a pair of his dance shoes.
Forest Holme Hospice in Poole provides palliative and end-of-life care and support to more than 1,500 people each year with advanced cancer and other life-limiting. However, due to an increase in patient referrals of over 40% year on year, the Charity now needs to raise at least £1,000,000 annually to ensure these services help to meet the ever-growing need within the local community.
Solent Mind’s mission is to make sure anyone experiencing a mental health issue has somewhere to turn to for advice, information, and support. Across the south coast region Solent Mind provide services to those in need. peer-to-peer support both in person and online, a Wellbeing app, and mental health crisis support to name just few.
