Bournemouth & Poole College celebrates GCSE results success

Students at Bournemouth & Poole College are celebrating their success after achieving an overall pass rate of 98.47% for this year’s GCSE results.

Due to nationwide delays, BTEC and vocational results are yet to be announced.

Phil Sayles, Principal and CEO of Bournemouth and Poole College, said: “We’re very proud of what our students have achieved this year, particularly those off to university, securing jobs or moving onto apprenticeships.

“The College provides you with the opportunity to make a career out of the subject you love, to be assessed mainly as you progress, and then take the next steps onto university, into the workplace or further study. It truly is a brilliant route.”

Many students who have achieved their desired results will choose to continue their education at Bournemouth & Poole College with the option to enrol onto a range of full-time and part-time courses, apprenticeships, and degree level courses.
